Don't Play With God

Don't call on the name of The Lord if you do not know Him for yourself. Don't pretend to know Jesus to try to impress t.he people.

There were some Jews and exorcists who admired the power that Paul had to heal the sick and to cast out evil spirits. They wanted the power for themselves and tried to immitate Paul.

The Bible says that they tried to cast out evil spirits from a man who was possessed by saying "... We adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul preacheth ... and the evil spirit answered them and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded." Acts 19:13-17

They got what they asked for but could not handle it. They wanted the power that God gave to Paul. They called upon the name of Jesus but did not have a knowledge of Him or a relationship with Him. The devil knew this an attacfked them.

Don't play with God. Don't call on Him if you do not know Him. You might make your bad situation worse.

If you do not know Him, get to know Him. Sincerely ask Him to come into your heart and take charge of your life. Confess to Him that you are a sinner and ask for forgiveness. Confess that Jesus is The Son of God and believe in the death. burial, & resurrection of Jesus, The Christ and you will be saved. Romams 10:9-10
