Be very careful about who it is that you hang out with. Your running buddies can exert a negative influence upon you. Be careful not only for what you do, but who you do it with. Our choice of friends says a lot about us. If your friends are not Christians, then who is influencing whom?
"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful ." Psalms 1:1
Who do you walk with, listen to and seek advice from? Are you being influenced by an ungodly person? If we choose to associate with ungodly individuals, we risk missing out on some of our blessings.
If you friends are ungodly, what does that say about you? "Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 Again, the Bible says " Blessed is the man that walketh NOT in the counsel of the ungodly ..." (emphasis added by me to Psalms 1:1) Choose your friends wisely, unwise choices may cause you to miss a blessing.
