How often do you read the Bible? How often do you study The Word of God and dig deeply into it to increase your understanding of it?
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee ..." Hosea 4:6
A lack of knowledge of God is a bad thing. Being ignorant is bad, but refusing to learn is worse. Do not reject the instructions of The Lord by refusing to read His Word.
We can easily be misled by false prophets and false teachers when we do not know The Word of God for ourselves. Everything that sounds good, isn't good or true.
Think about how much time we spend in other less significant activities as compared to the that we spend in the study of God's Word. Let's read and study the Bible more. Let's not be destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
