The Purpose Of Man

"Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole [duty] of man.  For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil."  Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (NIV)
King Solomon wrote to the young people of his kingdom, and indirectly to others (including us), to warn them against following the path of conventional human wisdom, and to advise them to live by the revealed wisdom of God.  For in the end, every deed, word, and thought will be judged by God.

The purpose for the creation of man, per my personal opinion, was to fellowship with God.  Our sins interrupt that fellowship.  By daily praying, asking for forgiveness, and living by The Word of God, we can enjoy our fellowship with God.  We may wrong our fellow man, but every sin is a sin against God. (Psalms 51:4)  We need God's help to overcome our sinful nature. (Psalms 51:5 & 10)  Obeying The Word of God allows us to maintains our fellowship with God, and allows us to fulfill our purpose.  All of our actions, spoken words, and thoughts will be judged.  Get God's help and get right.
