King David said that it is good for people to come together and be on one accord.
It would be very good if we could come together peacefully, and be in agreement one with another. Instead of arguing and fighting about the things which we disagree on. Not even all religious groups agree with each other. There exists today many different denominations among Christians because of differences of opinion on some issue. The saddest part about this is that some Christians within the same denomination, within the same local church cannot always come together in peaceful unity and be on one accord. We should pray for God's peace when we come together, and pray that we would be on one accord. This applies to our families, friends, co-workers, and neighbors as well as for the leaders of our communities, cities, counties, states, and countries. The Bible states that we ought to pray for each other (James 5:16), and that includes praying for the leaders of our governments. This world would be a much better place if we could live together in unity.
