Life is not always easy. Things happen to us that knock us off balance. Sometimes life comes at us hard, throws us a curve, and tempts us to sin in our thoughts, deeds, and words.
As Christians, we need to be mindful of this and stand strong. Don't give in to sin. The song says: "Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin ... look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through ..."
We need to turn to The Lord to help us resist temptation. "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him." James 1:12
No one said that it would be easy to resist temptation, but we have a choice. We can choose to follow Jesus.
