The Bible was written for us. It gives us hope and direction. The Bible contains the answers to our questions. Our problem is we won't read the Bible so we don't know what is in it.
"For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." Romans 15:4
So, no matter what it is that we are dealing with, we should look in the Word of God for answers and direction. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalms 46:1
We could learn a lot and increase our knowledge, wisdom and understanding, if we would spend more time reading and meditating of The Word of God. "Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and knowledge of the holy is understanding." Proverbs 9:10
The knowledge of some facts, without the wisdom and understanding of how to apply what you know does not help you. "Get wisdom, get understanding ... and with all thy getting get understanding." Proverbs 4:5 & 7
"Trust in The Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
Let's make and effort to read the Bible more often, our hope is contained therein.
