One of the proverbs of Solomon, the wisest man ever, teaches that the pursuit of righteousness and love will lead not only to righteousness and love, but will also result in prosperity and honor.
The pursuit of righteousness will result in much more than what we are seeking. The reward for seeking righteousness will be much greater than we expect. By seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all of the other things that we want will be given to us. (Matthew 6:33)
