"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from The Lord ..." Acts 3:19 (NIV)
After the Apostle Peter had healed the crippled man at the temple gate called Beautiful, he addressed the onlooking crowd and told them to repent.
The message in the early sermons that Jesus preached was: "Repent." (Matthew 4:17) Unfortunately, that sermon still needs to be preached today. We take our lives and our blessings for granted. We should conduct our lives as living sacrifices unto The Lord. We need to behave in such a way so that people can see Christ in us. Those who knew us before and after we accepted Christ, should be able to see a difference in our behavior. "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
