Read the Bible. The Bible is the Holy Spirit inspired, inerrant, Word of God. It may not be the easiest book in the world to read, or to understand, but we should read the Bible.
When we pray, we talk to God. When we read the Bible, God speaks to us.
"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear to words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein; for the time is at hand." Revelation 1:3
There is a special blessing in store for this book. The Book of Revelation is probably the most difficult of the books of the Bible to understand. We need to keep in mind that it was written by a first century man, using the language of that time, trying to describe twenty-first century events.
We may not understand all that we read, but the Bible did not say blessed is he that understands. It says, "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear ... and keep ..." for the end is near. Read the Bible and obey God's Word. Pray first, then read The Bible.
