A lot of people mistake 'meekness' for 'weakness'. The meek have the power to rise up and defeat others, but they choose not to use their power or strength.
You would not pick a fight with a professional boxer. If you did, he would probably just look at you and walk away. He knows that if he hit you that he could really hurt you, but he chooses not to hit you but to walk away from you.
The meek are blessed of God. They have an unseen source of power and strength. Don't mess with the meek, you might get hurt. Their power is greater than their physical strength.
