"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
In his letter to the believers in Philippi, the Apostle Paul told them not to worry about anything. He said that instead of worrying they should pray about everything.
If we would pray before we spoke or took any action, and asked The Lord for His guidance and direction and followed it, then we would live a more Christ-like life and we would enjoy the peace of God. If we would pray first, there would be no need to be anxious or worry.
