"My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and The Father are one." John 10:27-30 (NIV)
Jesus was in the temple talking with the non-believing Jews when they asked Him, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." Jesus answered, "I did tell you ... I and The Father are one." They did not believe Him because they were not His sheep. His sheep know His voice, follow Him, and are safely in The Father's hand.
For believers, followers of Jesus Christ, there is safety and protection in His Father's hand. All we have to do is listen to Him and follow Him. He speaks to us through His Word, The Holy Bible.
