Desires of Your Heart

"Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Psalms 37:4

To get what you want from God, you must first do the right thing by God. If you really love Him, then you will want to get to know Him better, want to talk to Him more, and want to listen to Him often. How do we do this. To talk to Him, we pray. To listen to Him, we read His Word, The Bible.

"But his delight is in the law (Word) of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night." Psalms 1:2 We should give God some time, first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. Giving Him a little time throughout the day would be a good thing to do also.

If you want God to give you the desires of your heart, show Him that you love Him.
