The Desires of Your Heart

Not getting what you want out of life? Maybe that is because you want the wrong things.

"Delight thyself also in The Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto The Lord; trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass." Psalms 37:4-5

To "delight thyself in The Lord" is to take great pleasure in Him; to get great joy and satisfaction from Him. Does thinking about The Lord and reading His Holy Word give you great joy and great satisfaction?

He will give you what your heart desires because it you delight yourself in The Lord and trust in Him, then what your heart desires will be the right things for yourself and for others.

Talk It And Walk It

It is always a good thing to speak the Word of God. It is even a better thing to live the Word of God. It has been said that "actions speak louder than words." When our words and our actions are inconsistent, people will judge us by our actions.

Our problem is that we often speak the word, but we do not live like the Word is in us. We talk a good game, but most of the time we live just like the rest of the world. God is watching and listening to us all of the time.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16

Don't just talk it, but talk it and walk it.

It's All Good

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

So no matter what is happening in your life, know that it is all good, it will be good, and it will work out for the best for you down the road, if you are a child of God.
